Dimitrios Georgouvelas is originally from Greece and has been based in Sweden since 2014. He holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Stockholm University and currently serves as the Head of Materials at Trifilon, where he leads all material development projects from concept to commercialization.

With a strong focus on sustainability, Dimitrios is dedicated to creating environmentally friendly materials that help clients achieve their sustainability goals—whether through reducing carbon footprint, incorporating circular material strategies, or utilizing biobased and compostable alternatives. His work plays a key role in bridging material science and real-world impact for a greener future.
