Hartmut currently serves as the Head of Sales for Europe and the Americas at Sulzer Chemtech, a role he has held since March 2024, where he oversees polymer technologies and crystallization processes. Prior to this, he was the Head of Polymer Business for EMIA and AME at Sulzer Chemtech from November 2021 to February 2024. His career includes various roles at Clariant, where he served as Global Technical Segment Manager, Technical Marketing Manager, and Business Development Manager from 2012 to 2021. Earlier, he worked at Borealis as Technology Licensing Manager and Product Development Team Leader from 2007 to 2012, and at Lummus Novolen Technology as Manager of Product Development & Application from 2003 to 2007. He also held the position of Product Development Manager for Ziegler-Natta and Metallocene Polypropylene at Targor/Basell from 1999 to 2002. Hartmut holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the Institute for Macromolecular Chemistry in Freiburg, Germany, and a Master of Science in Innovation Management from LIMAK Austrian Business School in Linz. With a strong background in polymer chemistry and innovation management, he brings extensive experience in leadership, sales, marketing, and technical roles across the polymer, chemical, and equipment industries.
