Lori Yoder has nearly 30 years’ experience in the plastic packaging industry including preform and container design, orientation stretch-blow molding processing, container performance testing, materials and barrier technologies development and permeation and container design modeling. Lori has materials, design and processing knowledge across a broad range of thermoplastics, including PHA, PLA, PGA, PEF, PEN, PET, PEIT and polypropylene.  In her role as a Senior Technical Marketing Representative for Alpek Polyester, Lori was an successful liaison between brand companies and converters with internal R&D teams in developing PET packaging solutions

In addition to downstream material processing and testing expertise, Lori has extensive experience in polyester recycling with from PCR flake washing through rPET brand qualification and molding. Now as a advisor and  DELL-PET Team Member she continues to support the PET bottling industry.

Lori graduated Cum Laude from the University of Toledo with her B.S degree in Chemical Engineering and went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.  Lori has held technical roles at Alpek Polyester (DAK Americas), PTI, and Eli Lilly and Co. in her esteemed career.
