As the Chief Technology Officer at Emirates Biotech, she spearheads technological advancements and strategic initiatives to accelerate the adoption of polylactic acid (PLA) polymers. Her leadership is instrumental in the design and engineering of PLA manufacturing facility.

Dr. Kulshrestha’s career reflects a deep commitment to sustainability and innovation. She previously served as the Global Head of Polymer Applications & Recycling at Sulzer Chemtech, where she expanded licensing portfolio with biobased solutions and advanced recycling technologies. At NatureWorks, she held several key roles, driving product innovations in biopolymers and leading groundbreaking research in compostable materials and innovating process technologies. Her efforts have resulted in commercialization of sustainable solutions, multiple patents, and successful collaborations across the globe.
