Donald founded CRDC, a Costa Rican-based company that works globally to harness the commercial potential of regenerative design and industrial symbiosis. CRDC is a recognized leader in circular economy solutions for what he has coined “Tragic Plastic” and the Built Environment. His innovative REAP Business Model —Recover-Enrich-Appreciate-Prosper—was a People’s Choice nominee at the 2016 World Economic Forum Circularity Awards, becoming the basis of CRDC’s International Education program. As a lifelong builder, developer, and industrial innovator, Donald holds several international patents in building product design and is recognized as a disruptor in low-carbon concrete.
