Vikas Chhajer is the CEO of Gemcorp Recycling & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (India) and Chief Sustainability & Strategy Officer at Gemini Corporation NV (Belgium). Gemini operates in over 60 countries and recycles more than 2 million tonnes of materials annually.

Vikas has over two decades of experience in recycling and resource recovery. He focuses on building scalable and traceable circular supply chains across the Global South.

Under his leadership, Gemcorp recycles over 30,000 tonnes of plastics annually. The company is now expanding capacity to 100,000 tonnes.

Gemcorp runs end-to-end circular systems. These include waste collection, formalization of the informal sector, recycling, and finished products. The company produces packaging solutions with up to 70% recycled content for global brands.

Vikas actively contributes to global sustainability platforms. These include Climate Week NYC, K-Fair, and World Economic Forum dialogues. He is also engaged with the UNEP Global Plastics Treaty and the Alliance to End Plastic Waste.
