My career began by focusing on performance measurement systems—gauging how effectively organizations were meeting their goals. Over time, this evolved into a deeper and more meaningful challenge: measuring their environmental and societal impacts. This shift led me to contribute to the development of what is now known as the UN’s Sustainable Development Performance Indicators, a globally recognized framework that places sustainability at the core of organizational strategy.

This work not only changed how companies measure impact, but also how they communicate their values, engage stakeholders, and collaborate for global change.

Understanding impact also means understanding risk. I’ve worked extensively on designing systems that prevent errors, reduce fraud, and protect the integrity of sustainability-driven initiatives. Whether through enhanced governance, better data analysis, or holistic systems redesign, the goal is always the same: maximize trust and minimize unintended consequences.
