Rajesh has showcased his innovations at leading international plastic exhibitions in the USA, China, Germany, Dubai, and India, building a reputation as a global thought leader. His expertise in designing and optimizing plastic processing plant layouts has not only increased operational efficiency for many businesses but also advanced sustainable practices across the industry.
From commodity plastics like PP, HDPE, and LDPE to engineering plastics, high-temperature materials, and multi-layered plastics (MLP), Rajesh has successfully led projects that recycle and compound a wide variety of polymers. This versatility has enabled 21st Century Polymers to serve diverse industries and make a meaningful environmental impact.
Leading the Way in Biodegradable Solutions and Waste Management
Since 2011, Rajesh has been at the forefront of biodegradable and compostable materials, working on alternatives that align with global sustainability mandates. In 2019, he further expanded his efforts by launching a waste management initiative, setting up three Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) in Goa and one in partnership with the Mathura-Vrindavan Municipal Corporation.
His recycling units in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh form a robust regional ecosystem for plastic recovery and reuse, strengthening India’s push towards a circular economy. Rajesh is a strong advocate of combining MRFs with recycling operations — a model he believes is the most effective and scalable solution to tackle plastic litter.
As a member of the India Plastic Pact, he contributes to shaping national policy and promoting industry-wide adoption of sustainable practices.
