As a 35-year-old humanitarian from Thane, Mumbai, Dr. Kwatra has dedicated his life to creating positive change. Through Khushiyaan Foundation, he has made a profound impact, caring for 10,000 children’s education and hosting 65+ senior citizens at his ashram. A committed environmental advocate, Dr. Kwatra has: Mobilized 1 lakh volunteers, conducted over 700 cleanups, Saved 4000 tonnes of garbage from entering the ocean (a feat celebrated worldwide!) Taking his environmental efforts to the next level, Dr. Kwatra pioneered a pilot model to recycle beach waste, establishing a mini–Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to process beach plastic into valuable products, such as: Garbage bags Tarpaulin, Coasters, planters etc. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Dr. Kwatra has received numerous accolades, including: Youth Leader by PM Modi, Mumbai’s Sustainability Leader of the Year, TEDx speaker, Limca Book of Records holder, KBC recognized.
