Founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs Roblain Namegni and Thomas Poelmans, NAMé Recycling is a Belgian-Cameroonian company that was created with the objective of having a positive ecological, social and economic impact on the environment.
In 2016, after a first round of fundraising, NAMé began its activities in Limbe, a coastal city located 80km from the country’s economic capital, Douala. Thanks to a network of professional collectors (private companies, municipalities, associations) located in the four corners of the country and private collectors, Namé Recycling quickly obtained raw materials. Once the material has been collected, it is sorted, cleaned and transformed to be then recycled.
