Oliver also pioneered the use of plastic credits as a high-integrity funding mechanism for waste management.

His work spans from removing over 5.7 million kilograms of plastic in Southeast Asia to shaping policy with DEFRA (UK), KLHK (Indonesia), and the GIZ PREVENT Waste Alliance. He has advised global clients including The Economist Group, FIFA World Cup, Microsoft, and Singapore Zoo, helping them reduce plastic use, boost recycling, and embed plastics into ESG reporting.
