Sebastian Krell joined SK Industriemodell as the managing director in 2014 and is the sole owner of the company since July 2015. He has strongly established research as a key element since joining SK Industriemodell. Print&Inject, the companies technology to use 3D printed mold inserts for injection with serial materials, is the result of the first research project between SK Industriemodell and the RWTH Aachen University.

SK Industriemodell was nominated for the founders award of the business region Aachen in 2014 and nominated for the founders award of North Rhine Westphalia in 2016. SK Industriemodell was awarded the seal innovative through research from 2019-2024. Before joining SK Industriemodell, Mr. Krell worked in various companies as an IT consultant leading bis infrastructure and software projects.

Sebastian Krell holds a Diploma in mechanical engineering focusing on manufacturing technology from the RWTH Aachen University.
