With over 15 years at Unilever, Priya has played a pivotal role in shaping corporate communications and sustainability strategies across the MENA region, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Starting as the MENA Corporate Communication Manager in 2008, she has since held multiple leadership positions, spearheading initiatives in employee engagement, external affairs, and corporate affairs. In 2019, she was appointed as the Sustainability Head, expanding her impact on global sustainability goals.
Priya’s dedication to fostering partnerships for meaningful change is evident in her work. She established the Advertising Business Group (ABG) in 2016, the region’s largest self-regulatory advertising and marketing group, and served as a Board Member until 2025. Her efforts in gender equality led to the creation of the UAE Chapter of the Unstereotype Alliance in 2020, in collaboration with UN Women. Recognized as a ‘Marketing Gamechanger 2020’ by Campaign Magazine, Priya continues to lead impactful initiatives for a more inclusive and sustainable industry.
Championing Circular Economy and Sustainable Packaging
In November 2022, Priya was elected as the first Chair of the Circular Packaging Association, underscoring her commitment to advancing sustainable packaging solutions. Her role in driving circular economy principles extends further as a Board Member of the Multinational Companies Business Group (MCBG) since May 2023. Additionally, she was a jury member for the Sustainable Development Goals Lions (SDG) at the 2022 Cannes Lions, highlighting her influence in global sustainability conversations.
